Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience trying to connect my Nuki Smart Lock Pro to an MQTT broker. While it’s been a bit of a challenge, it’s also been a great learning opportunity!
I started by connecting my lock to my home Wi-Fi, which went smoothly. The next step was configuring the MQTT settings in the Nuki app. I followed the instructions carefully, entering the correct hostname, username, and password for my Adafruit MQTT broker. Everything seemed set, but I kept getting a ‘connection refused’ error. Frustrating, to say the least!
I decided to troubleshoot by double-checking my MQTT broker settings. I ensured the hostname was correct and verified my credentials. I even tried resetting the Nuki lock to factory settings and重新连接,但问题依旧。我开始怀疑是不是我的MQTT broker有问题,或者是不是Nuki锁本身不支持某些配置。
After some research, I discovered that others have had similar issues, often related to firewall settings or broker configurations. I decided to try a different MQTT broker to see if the problem persists. If it does, I’ll know the issue isn’t with Adafruit specifically.
While I haven’t solved the problem yet, I’m determined to figure it out. I’m also curious to hear how others have successfully integrated their Nuki locks into MQTT setups. Have you encountered similar issues? What solutions did you find? I’m all ears!
This experience has reminded me how important it is to thoroughly understand each component of a smart home setup. It’s also highlighted the value of community support—knowing that others are facing similar challenges and are willing to share their knowledge makes all the difference.
Fingers crossed I can get this working soon! Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
