Hey everyone, I’m currently working on setting up a wall-mounted tablet in my home for smart routines, similar to how I used Google Home before. Everything is set up nicely, but there’s one issue I’m struggling with: controlling my Samsung TV from OpenHAB. I used to rely on Google Home and the SmartThings app, which worked perfectly, but integrating them directly with OpenHAB seems tricky.
I’ve explored a few potential solutions, like using Tasker and SharpTools on my Android phone, but I’m not quite sure how to set it up. I’ve seen some discussions about integrating SmartThings with OpenHAB, but it seems complicated and might not be the best approach. I’ve also come across mentions of the orange assist binding, but I can’t find it in the Paper UI. Any advice or experiences others have had would be super helpful!
