Connecting Video Doorbell to Smart Hub and Resetting Authentication

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to connect my new video doorbell (gen2) to my Smart Hub, but it’s been a bit of a puzzle. The doorbell keeps wanting to connect directly to my Wi-Fi instead of the Smart Hub. I’ve tried resetting it, moving closer, and even using different devices, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

On another note, I stumbled upon a helpful tip regarding the Nabu Casa integration. I thought it was all about accessing my Home Assistant instance from anywhere, but there’s more to it. I’ve been using the trial account, and while everything works at home over Wi-Fi, I couldn’t connect via cellular data. The error message was a bit discouraging, but I’m hopeful there’s a workaround. If anyone has successfully used Nabu Casa with cellular data, please share your experience!

Lastly, I came across a user who was struggling with resetting or turning off the authentication code in Console mode on HA Green. After some research, I found that using the auth command with the reset option can help bypass the authentication if it’s causing issues. It’s a handy trick for those moments when you need quick access!

If anyone has solutions or workarounds for these issues, I’d love to hear about them. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other out!
