Hey everyone, I’m facing a bit of a challenge and I’m hoping someone here can offer some guidance. I recently purchased a Weinor Viva Plaza terrace cover and I’m really looking to integrate it into my smart home setup with Homey. Unfortunately, I’m struggling to get it connected properly.
From what I understand, the Weinor uses an Elero MLED receiver, which is controlled by a 5-channel VarioTel remote. The advice I’ve found so far suggests using an Elero Centero Home hub to make the system smart, but I’m really hoping to connect it directly to Homey without adding another hub into the mix.
I know that the Centero Home might be an option, but I don’t see any Elero or Weinor apps listed in the Homey app store. Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup? Any tips or workarounds would be incredibly appreciated.
If connecting directly isn’t possible, I’m open to exploring the Centero Home option and then integrating it with Homey. But for now, I’m really hoping there’s a way to keep things simple and stick with just Homey.
