Aqara lets you create and sync smart automations by creating a Signal (combination of triggers) that will act as a presence sensor 1/0 that will let you use nested triggers in other platforms like Alexa. To perform this you need to go to Connected Echosystmens β Matter β Add Signal Create and create a list of conditions (and or or) that will be enabled in the other plat form through matter. This way you can create a condition that for example triggers only when you presence detects a person but the lux levels are below certain threshold to turn on the lights.

Yes, thatβs really useful, I use signals to create automations of HomeKit devices (like playing the music via HomePods) because HomeKit has very limited capabilities in terms of automations.
For example, I have a P1 motion and light sensor in my bathroom and I play music when someone enters it. And I want it to stop when someone exits it. It doesnβt work correctly when someone is sitting on a toilet, so I made a signal that is activated when there is 5min of absence. I use this signal to stop the music.
