Hi everyone, I’ve been using Homey Pro for the past four years, primarily for controlling three thermostat heads and two lighting setups. While it’s been reliable, I’m now moving into a new house and want to take my smart home setup to the next level. Inspired by a visit to a home with a full Loxone system, I’m curious if I can replicate that experience with Homey.
My goal is to have an iPad in the living room displaying a default dashboard that monitors solar panel power flow (using an Envoy S gateway), security camera feeds (from Arlo), and other climate and lighting preferences. However, I’ve noticed some limitations with Homey when trying to achieve this. For instance, setting up a simple schedule to turn a light on at 9 AM and off at 9 PM requires creating two separate flows, whereas the native app for the light allows for a single, straightforward schedule.
I’d love to know if it’s possible to create a dashboard similar to Loxone or Home Assistant on an iPad to visualize all these home stats. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
