I’ve recently been on a mission to transform my backyard into a magical outdoor space, and I have to say, it’s been an incredible journey! 
This year, I decided to go beyond the usual and create an atmosphere that’s both versatile and enchanting. The goal was to have a setup that could easily transition from cozy evenings to lively gatherings, all while keeping things unique and magical. 
One of the highlights of this project has been experimenting with starry sky lighting. It’s amazing how a few well-placed lights can completely change the ambiance of a space. I’ve been using a combination of string lights and LED accents to create that twinkling effect, and it’s truly breathtaking at night. 
Not only does it add a touch of magic, but it also makes the space feel welcoming and intimate, perfect for those quiet nights or for entertaining friends.
Another aspect I’ve been exploring is integrating voice control into my setup. After some research, I stumbled upon Sepia, a cloud-free voice interpreter that works seamlessly with my OpenHAB installation. It’s been a game-changer! 
Now, I can easily adjust the lighting, set scenes, and control various devices without lifting a finger. The best part is that everything stays local, so there’s no need to worry about external servers or data privacy.
