I wanted my lights to adjust based on the time of day and my activities. Using the Light Automations feature, I created scenes that change the color temperature and brightness throughout the day. For example, in the morning, the lights gradually brighten to simulate sunrise, helping me wake up naturally. In the evening, they dim to a warmer tone, creating a cozy atmosphere. It’s been a game-changer for my daily routine!Another thing I’m really proud of is automating my outdoor lights. I have a long deck with a gate, and I wanted the lights to turn on when someone approaches. I used motion sensors and set up a simple automation: when motion is detected, the lights switch on and stay on for 15 minutes. It’s not only convenient but also adds a layer of security. I even integrated it with my smart camera, so I get a notification if there’s unusual activity.I also explored using the Custom Header component to make the interface more compact and user-friendly. It took some tweaking, but now I have a clean, intuitive dashboard that I can easily navigate on my phone.
