Creative Solution for Wyze Entry Sensors

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a creative solution I came up with for mounting my Wyze entry sensors. I’ve been using these sensors for years, and while they’re reliable, they can be a bit tricky to mount discreetly. I recently stumbled upon a clever way to protect and mount them using a simple toothpick container. Here’s how I did it:

  1. Container Modification: I took a small toothpick container, cut it down to the perfect size to fit the sensor, and placed the sensor inside. This not only protects the sensor from the elements but also makes it more discreet.

  2. Mounting: I used 3M double-sided tape to secure the container to the desired surface. For my mailbox, I added a small shim to ensure it sat perfectly flush.

  3. Weatherproofing: This setup has been working beautifully, even in extreme temperatures down to 15°F. The sensors stay protected and function flawlessly.

I’d love to hear if anyone else has creative mounting solutions or tips for their Wyze sensors! It’s always great to share and learn from each other.
