I’ve been really enjoying customizing my Huawei tablet’s interface for my smart home setup. I recently created a custom picture-elements wall UI that really streamlines how I control my lights and media. Using swiper cards for light switches has been a game-changer—it’s so much faster to toggle everything from one place. I also added a mini media card for quick access to my music and videos, which I’ve paired with a browser mod to pop up my garage camera when the door opens. It’s such a neat way to keep an eye on things without having to switch apps.
I’m really excited about adding a DIY smart doorbell camera soon. The setup has been surprisingly straightforward, and it’s been awesome to see how these small tweaks make my daily interactions with tech so much smoother. The only thing left is to fine-tune the layout a bit more, but I wanted to share this progress so far!
