Christmas is the perfect time to get creative with your smart home setup! I recently started experimenting with my Govee color light bulbs, and I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is looking to customize their holiday lighting. 
I have three Govee bulbs outside my townhome, and I love how easy it is to switch between different themes. The Christmas theme was a great start, but I wanted to mix things up a bit. I wondered if there was a way to make the bulbs cycle through colors like red and green every few seconds instead of staying on one color all night. After some research and trial and error, I figured out how to set up a simple rule to make this happen!
Here’s what I did: I created a virtual switch called “Christmas Mode” and set up a rule that triggers the color change every 5 seconds. It adds a nice touch of dynamism to my outdoor lighting, and it’s so satisfying to see it in action.
