Hey everyone, I’m really excited to share my latest project with you! I’ve been working on setting up a smart TV control system using picture cards with RESTful calls as services. So far, it’s been a fantastic experience, and I’m thrilled with how much I’ve accomplished. However, there’s one small tweak I’m hoping to figure out, and I’d love your input!
What’s Working:
- Custom Images: I’ve created some really nice custom images for the buttons, which makes the interface look super polished.
- RESTful Integration: The RESTful calls are working perfectly, allowing me to control my TV with ease.
The Challenge:
The only thing bugging me is the alignment of these images within the cards. Right now, they’re top-aligned and take up the entire width of the card. I’d love to center them nicely so they look even more professional. I know I could edit the images themselves to make them fit, but that feels a bit hacky. I’m sure there’s a smarter way to adjust the padding and alignment properties directly in the card theme.
What I’ve Tried:
- I’ve looked through the documentation and experimented with different theme settings, but I’m not quite getting the results I want.
- I’ve also searched the forums for similar issues, but most solutions seem to involve editing the images rather than the card itself.
What I’m Hoping For:
I’m really hoping there’s a way to tweak the card’s properties to center the images perfectly without altering the images themselves. If anyone has any tips or tricks, I’d be incredibly grateful! Whether it’s a specific theme adjustment or a hidden setting I’ve missed, I’m all ears.
Thanks in advance for your help! I can’t wait to see how this project comes together fully. ![]()
