Hello everyone! I’m currently working on a project where I want to set up a permanent notification in my smart home system. The goal is to have it display the value of a text helper called “LightColour” for debugging purposes. I’ve managed to get notifications working, but I’m struggling with the exact string format needed to make it permanent. I tried using the state variable, but it doesn’t seem to work as expected.
I’ve seen examples where notifications are triggered by specific events, but I want this one to stay visible all the time. Does anyone have experience with setting up permanent notifications, especially for debugging? I’d really appreciate any tips or tricks you might have!
On a related note, I’ve also been experimenting with integrating multiple smart devices from different brands.
