Hey community!
I wanted to share a problem I’m facing, hoping that anyone had similar situation and was able to solve it.
When I’ve upgraded Aqara Hub from M2 to M3 couple of months ago, I’ve noticed that automation notifications generated on “Door opened” event, triggered by door sensor, are sent with a delay. This is not consistent and sometimes there’s no delay, sometimes it’s 30 seconds, but it can also be 5-6 minutes after the event.
From the automation log I can see that event was properly registered (execution time), so it seems that only the application notification is like that. Unplugging the hub sometimes helps and sometimes not, therefore I’m suspecting the app itself.
Did anyone else stumbled with this behaviour?
I’m using this as a “soft” alarm mechanism, just to sleep better when I’m out of my apartment, but those delays are giving me the hibby jibbies that some day I will not be notified when something bad is happening.

There seems to be a problem with notifications recently, it started a few days ago.
People started reporting the issue, it apparently doesn’t matter what hub you use, but it also started around the same time the app updated (first thread, second thread).
Notifications are sent through the cloud (because they need to be handled by OS vendor like Apple/Google). It seems there was some changes/updates on the Aqara’s servers and the notifications are often delayed (probably when there’s more traffic).
