I have 2 H2 dimmer switches connected via Matter and they are very laggy, delaying actions and automations for over a couple seconds.
Is this the expected behavior when connected via Matter, or should I reset and use Zigbee instead?
With Aqara devices, Zigbee is generally the better option. Aqara’s Zigbee implementation is more mature, stable, and responsive compared to Matter over Thread, which can sometimes introduce delays like you’re experiencing. Zigbee also tends to offer better battery performance, more available features on Aqara devices, and improved range when more Zigbee devices are present on the network. I’d recommend resetting and using Zigbee if you want faster and more reliable automations.
