This holiday season, I decided to take on a DIY project that would not only brighten up my home but also challenge my creativity. The idea was to install a 5M RGBIC light strip around my desk, wrapping it in a way that the light would face upwards, creating a beautiful ambient glow. However, the challenge was how to mount it securely on the edge of my desk without the included brackets, which were designed for flat surfaces.
After some brainstorming and a trip to the hardware store, I found the perfect solution: using a combination of adhesive mounts and corner clamps to secure the light strip. It took a few adjustments to get the positioning just right, but the result was worth every bit of effort. The RGBIC strip, once installed, transformed my workspace into a cozy, festive corner, perfect for those long winter evenings.
