I just wanted to share my recent project that combines my love for lofi music and DIY lighting. 
I’ve been a huge fan of Lofi Girl for years, and her music has been the backbone of my daily routine—whether I’m studying, working out, or just relaxing at home. 
Recently, I decided to take my lofi experience to the next level by creating a custom lighting setup using my Govee lights. 
I’ve always been inspired by the vibrant, calming colors in Lofi Girl’s videos, so I wanted to replicate that atmosphere at home. Here’s what I did:

Research and Planning
I started by analyzing the color palettes in Lofi Girl’s videos. I noticed a lot of soft blues, warm ambers, and pastel pinks. These colors create a soothing environment that complements the music perfectly. -
DIY Setup
I used my Govee smart lights to create zones in my room. The ceiling lights were set to a soft blue to mimic the cool, ambient glow of a starry night, while the table lamps were configured to warm ambers for a cozy feel. I also added some pastel pink string lights to add a touch of whimsy.

Automation Magic
I integrated my Govee lights with my smart home system to automatically change colors based on the time of day and my activities. In the morning, the lights shift to energizing whites to help me start the day. During work hours, they dim to a calming blue to keep me focused. At night, they transition to warm ambers to signal it’s time to wind down.

Lofi Music Integration
I created custom scenes in the Govee app that sync with my lofi playlists. Now, when I press play, the lights automatically adjust to match the mood of the music. It’s like having my own personal concert! 
This project has been a game-changer for me. Not only does it enhance my lofi experience, but it also makes my space feel more inviting and personalized.
