Hi everyone! I wanted to share a fun DIY project I recently completed using Govee RGB light strips in shadow boxes. It’s been a fantastic way to add some ambiance and personality to my home decor. 
I’ve always loved the idea of combining technology with home decor, and Govee’s RGB light strips have been a game-changer for me. I decided to create a custom setup in some shadow boxes I had lying around. The goal was to not only enhance the lighting but also showcase some of my favorite small decor items.
Here’s a quick rundown of my process:

Planning the Setup: I started by measuring the shadow boxes to determine the best placement for the light strips. I wanted the lights to evenly illuminate the entire space without any gaps.

Installation: I carefully installed the Govee RGB strips along the edges of the shadow boxes, securing them with adhesive strips. I made sure to leave enough space for the power supply and control modules.

Customization: Using the Govee app, I programmed different lighting modes to match the mood of the room. From soft whites for reading to vibrant colors for parties, the possibilities are endless!

Integration with Smart Home: I connected the light strips to my smart home hub, allowing me to control them via voice commands or my smartphone. It’s incredibly convenient and adds a whole new level of automation to my living space.
The result? My shadow boxes now serve as both functional lighting fixtures and stunning decor pieces. They’ve completely transformed the look of my room, and I get so many compliments on them!
