As a lover of both technology and creativity, I’ve always been on the lookout for ways to merge the two. That’s why I’m absolutely thrilled with my latest DIY project using Govee products! :tada:

I’ve been experimenting with Govee’s RGB LED strips and power banks, and I stumbled upon an amazing idea: creating a customizable RGB phone case with a built-in power pack. The concept is simple yet brilliant—combine the convenience of a portable charger with the aesthetic appeal of dynamic lighting. Plus, it’s a perfect way to showcase my personality through vibrant colors!

Here’s how I brought it to life:

  1. Design & Material Selection I started by selecting a sturdy phone case that could accommodate the LED strip and power bank. I opted for a sleek, slim design that wouldn’t add too much bulk. For the LED strip, I chose Govee’s slim RGB strip with a remote control for easy customization. The power bank was a breeze to integrate, fitting perfectly into a compartment I created on the back.

  2. Assembly I carefully cut a channel along the edges of the phone case to house the LED strip. Using double-sided adhesive, I secured the strip in place, ensuring it wrapped neatly around the corners. The power bank was attached to the back with a few screws, making it easily removable for charging.

  3. Testing & Customization The best part? Testing it out! I programmed the RGB strip to sync with my phone’s notifications. Now, whenever I receive a call or message, the lights flash in my favorite color. It’s like having a personal light show in my pocket! :rocket:

  4. Battery Life I was pleasantly surprised by the battery life. The power bank holds a solid charge, and the LED strip doesn’t drain it quickly. Plus, the built-in power pack means I never have to worry about the lights dying mid-day.
