I recently purchased the Govee RGBIC LED strip and have been experimenting with creating a DIY music effect for my floor lamp. It’s been a fun challenge! I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone has tips or tricks to make it even better.
Initially, I struggled with getting the DIY effects to sync perfectly with the music. I created two effects—one with a pulsing rhythm and another with a steady glow—but integrating them into the music mode was tricky. After some research, I found that adjusting the sensitivity settings in the app helped a lot!
Here’s a quick tip: If you’re trying to achieve a seamless transition between effects, try lowering the sensitivity slightly. This prevents the lights from changing too rapidly and keeps the effect smooth.
