Hey everyone! I just wanted to share something I’ve been working on and get your thoughts on a little issue I’m facing with my Homey setup.
First off, I’ve been diving into some DIY projects around the house, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a blast! I recently put together a simple but effective setup for controlling my outdoor lights using a combination of Shelly EMs and some basic wiring. It wasn’t too complicated, but seeing it all come together and work seamlessly with my Hubitat hub was super satisfying. If anyone has tips on optimizing energy monitoring with Shelly devices, I’d love to hear them!
Now, onto the issue. I’ve noticed that my Homey Pro 2023 has been acting a bit finicky lately. Every other day or so, I get the dreaded “Couldn’t connect to Homey” message in the app. It’s been a while since I had to deal with this, and honestly, I’m a bit puzzled. The only solution I’ve found so far is to unplug it and give it a quick reboot. While that works, it’s getting a bit tedious. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d love to hear if there are any troubleshooting steps I can take or if this is a known issue.
On a lighter note, I’ve been really impressed with how my lighting setup has transformed my outdoor space. It’s amazing how a few well-placed LED strips can completely change the vibe of a room. If anyone has tips on integrating mood lighting with smart devices, I’m all ears!
Thanks for reading, and I hope to hear from some of you soon. Let’s keep the ideas flowing! ![]()
