Hey everyone! I wanted to share a fun DIY project I recently completed using my Govee LED strips. I’ve always been fascinated by vibrant lighting effects, and after experimenting with different settings, I came up with what I call the ‘Pure Rainbow’ effect. It’s a seamless, continuous rainbow that cycles through the entire spectrum, creating a mesmerizing display in my living room.
The process was surprisingly straightforward. I started by adjusting the RGB settings on my Govee app to ensure each color transition was smooth. I found that setting the saturation to maximum and adjusting the transition speed to a moderate pace gave the best results. For those interested, I’ve included a quick guide below on how to replicate this effect:
- Adjust RGB Settings: Ensure your LED strips are set to full RGB mode. Experiment with different saturation levels to find your preferred vibrancy.
- Transition Speed: A moderate speed works best to avoid the colors from appearing too abrupt. I recommend starting around 5 seconds per transition and adjusting from there.
- Pattern Selection: Choose a pattern that cycles through all colors. I found the ‘Rainbow Cycle’ preset to be ideal, but feel free to tweak it further!
