Hey everyone! I wanted to share a fun project I’ve been working on with my Govee RGBIC LED strips. It’s been a great way to combine my love for DIY projects with my passion for smart home automation. ![]()

So, a few weeks ago, I decided to transform my old piano into an interactive RGB light display. I’ve always been fascinated by how lighting can enhance music, and Govee’s RGBIC strips seemed like the perfect solution. I attached a 3-meter strip to the inside of the piano using cable ties, making sure the lights were evenly distributed across the keys. The result? Absolutely stunning! ![]()

I also integrated the lights with my smart home system using the Govee app. Now, I can control the colors and effects directly from my phone, or even set up scenes that change with the music. It’s been a hit with friends and family during our weekly music nights! ![]()

One thing I’d love to hear from the community is if anyone has tried similar projects or has tips for enhancing the experience further. Maybe adding some motion sensors or integrating with a music player app? Let me know your thoughts! ![]()
