Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my recent DIY smart lighting setup and some tips I’ve picked up along the way. 
I’ve been experimenting with Govee RGBIC PRO LED strip lights and RGBIC Neon Rope Lights for my bedroom, and the results have been amazing! The color combinations and dimming features really bring the space to life. Plus, the music mode sync is a game-changer for parties or just unwinding at home. 
One thing I struggled with initially was getting the music mode with custom colors to work. I wanted to create a Halloween scene with green, orange, and purple lights, but it seemed like I could only use single colors or auto-sync. After some research and tinkering, I figured out a workaround by manually setting the colors through the app. It wasn’t perfect, but it got the job done! 
I’d love to hear if anyone else has tips for customizing music modes or has tried similar DIY setups. Also, if anyone knows of a thermostat app for Vera that allows temperature changes in 0.5-degree increments, I’d be super grateful!
