Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into some fun DIY projects lately, and I thought I’d share my latest creation with you. I’ve always been fascinated by the night sky, so I decided to create a starry night projection using my Govee smart lights. It’s been a fantastic way to unwind after a long day and add some magical ambiance to my living room.
I started by setting up a simple DIY projector using a cardboard box and some tracing paper. The idea was to project a starry pattern onto my ceiling using the Govee lights as the light source. I experimented with different color combinations and found that a mix of whites and soft blues created the most realistic starry effect. The Govee app made it easy to adjust the colors and brightness to get the perfect look.
One challenge I encountered was getting the light to project evenly. I solved this by adjusting the position of the projector and using some reflective tape to bounce the light off the ceiling. It took a bit of trial and error, but the result was worth it!
I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried something similar or has tips for improving the setup. It’s been such a enjoyable project, and I’m already brainstorming my next DIY idea. Thanks for reading, and happy creating! ![]()
