With my FP 200 I have multiple ghosts all over the room and even using that AI retraining feature doesn’t seem to help

@sensor Yep—turning on AI Person Detection (often what folks mean by “pet mode”) can help reduce “ghost” presence, especially when the false targets are caused by pets, robot vacuums, or small moving objects being interpreted as a person. The FP series uses millimeter‑wave radar, so it will “see” pets too unless you filter them out.
A few practical things to try that typically make the biggest difference with ghosting:
- Enable AI Person Detection in the Aqara Home app (if it’s available on your model/firmware). It uses AI to classify pets/robot vacuums/toys as interference objects to reduce false alarms.
- Re-check install height/angle: wall-mount around 1.4–1.8 m, logo level, and if you’re higher than that, point it slightly downward. Incorrect height/angle is a common cause of detection artifacts.
- Mark interference sources as “Interference zones” (fans, curtains, AC airflow, reflective surfaces, etc.). Even subtle motion like moving curtains can create persistent ghosts.
- Define “Edges” tightly and make sure entrances/exits are configured properly—this helps the sensor “eliminate” targets instead of letting them linger as ghosts.
- Run Space/AI Learning when the room is empty (and after you’ve finished edges/interference setup). This reduces background noise and environmental interference.
