One of the simplest but possibly the most effective automation I have set up uses an Aqara button in the kitchen.

With everyone scattered throughout the house it can be a challenge to get everyone together for a meal.

Now, a single press sends an announcement to all echo devices in the home; a double press sends a final warning while a long press advises that the dog is going to be very happy.

It has proven very effective :slight_smile: :rofl:

Yes the button proved to be very useful to me too. I can position it at areas where I can’t add a wall switch. Ie use it as lights controller for bedside table. Works great with scenes as well :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
