Door and window sensor meeps dropping off the network

I have a door and window sensor that keeps dropping off the network. It doesn’t just become unavailable, it disappears from the Aqara App completely. The signal strength is generally excellent, but this disappearance has occurred three times now and i keep having to add it back. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hi, maybe the sensor battery is running low. Have you tried replacing the power supply? If not, replace the battery and check its operation.

Hi, yes, I should have added, I changed the battery about four weeks ago, so it should be good. Plus If I reset the device it will continue working for around a month. I have three of these devices and this is the only one that keeps failing.

How far is the door sensor to the Aqara hub? Please try to move it closer to the Aqara hub to check

Hello, this is indeed a problem. If the sensors really disappear from the Aqara home app, please confirm again. If so, I will file a problem. Only then give your Aqara home account. Also give the sensor model.

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. It’s an Aqara Door and Window Sensor (not the P2 or T1). It has disappeared from the network three times, on the first two occasions I have been able to re-add it. This time, I can’t. If I hold the button for five seconds it doesn’t flash, but if I press it once, it flashes continuously). It forms part of my alarm, so I have now replaced the sensor, but would like to get this one operating again and use it on a different door. I have brought the sensor close to the M3 hub, but it still won’t pair. I occasionally see devices go offline, but never disappear from the App as this one has. I will be grateful if you will raise a ticket.
