Door sensor in different colors

Hi, do you know if it’s possible to spray color the door, temperature, movement sensor?

I’m asking cause these white bricks are really an eye catching and it makes it harder to hide them.

Maybe aqara could start producing them in a color palette to match our house styles?

I’m thinking about black, gray, gold, wood maybe?

What do you think? Anyone ever tried and diy color them?

Thanks

I backup this suggestion.
Have brown doors and windows and a brown sensor would look just much better on those

I think you can easily spray paint the door opening sensor as it relies on magnet ,the motion sensor’s plastic body can also be spray painted as far as you don’t spray the sensor window.

All my doors and windows are black so I would also love to have dark sensors.

I think for door sensors it should be no problem as mentioned before.

For Temperature they sometimes have holes to let air in, this hole shouldn’t be sprayed shut. Also I don’t know if the sensor likes direct contact with spray paint.

Door sensor is magnetic so paint don’t affect it.
First use scotch brite to matt surface and then apply 3 thin coats of paint spray

I’ve painted mine, no issues or change in behaviour

Sounds like a good idea!
I have talked to Aqara about the u200 lock, when my door is white and silver on the inside and black on the outside, but they said that it was not possible with the lock to have different colours. Sensors should not be that hard to make in different colours :ok_hand::crossed_fingers:
