Is it OK to put the main unit of a P2 Door Sensor on the door and smaller unit on the frame? Or are there problems doing that?
It’s totally fine to install the P2 that way. The sensor doesn’t care which part is on the door and which part is on the frame, as long as the two pieces line up correctly and stay within the recommended distance. Just make sure the marks face each other and the gap isn’t too wide.
So yes, door on the big piece and frame on the small one works perfectly.
