Door sensors or water leak sensors

Why my Door or water leak sensors not showing in HomeKit.Logged out of Aqara app set to Homekit mode nothing❓

Hello, welcome to the forum. In order for the old type of door opening sensor and leak sensor to be visible, you need to connect them to the Aqara gateway. After that, you will see them in Apple Home.

Doors/windows and leak sensors are a little confusing in Apple Home at first.

As they aren’t controllable accessories, they don’t show up as normal tiles there.

Open doors will show in the “Security” area after you tap them, but closed doors don’t seem to.

If you go to the room first, then you’ll see if the door is open or closed.

For leak sensors, I’m not sure if they show up on the Home Screen of the Apple Home app if there’s a leak, but the don’t when there’s not one.

You can see them if you first go to the room, then tap on the leak sensors (or sometimes called alarm sensors) in the row near the top just under the room name.

They also should show up if you go to Home Settings > Sensors in the Home app.
