Door spindle help

Ahoy, I bought the Aqara U300 however, it would appear that the door spindle is just a little short to turn the door knob. I’ve tried reaching out to support - but I get sent into an endless loop (you’ll have to go back to where you bought it from [amazon], in turn amazon tells me I have to go back to who I bought it from [aqara’s amazon shop], and round and round it goes.)

All I want is to be able to get my mitts on a slightly longer door spindle so I can actually use this doorknob instead of having it as an expensive paperweight.

Do you have a local hardware or ironmongery store that you can try. If you can take the spindle with you to see if they can help you. I sometimes fine that the spindle can be pushed further into one handle than it needs to be leaving the other side a bit short.

I haven’t tried that yet. Figured I’d go right to the barn so to speak. But I’ll give that a shot. Thanks for replying.
