I currently have a Logitech Circle View for my front doorbell. It’s bad. Video quality is great and it works well with Apple, but it overheats and goes offline in the summer sun! This happens multiple times per day. I’d like to upgrade to an Aqara, but they’re physically much wider than the Logitech. I think this is to accommodate the batteries, which I don’t need for my hard wired setup. Is there a slimmer Aqara option? ![]()
@tpstinson It’s frustrating when a device doesn’t perform as expected, especially in the heat of summer! I understand you’re looking for a slimmer Aqara doorbell option that can fit your hard-wired setup without the need for batteries. Based on the reference information, the Aqara Doorbell Camera Hub G410 might be a suitable option for you. It offers a 2K camera resolution and supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, which might help in preventing overheating issues. However, it does include a chime that connects via USB-C, and the overall width could be influenced by design elements beyond just battery accommodation.
Unfortunately, specific dimensions aren’t provided in the reference data, so I suggest checking the product details directly on Aqara’s website or contacting their support for exact measurements. This would help ensure it fits your specific space requirements. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask, and let’s see how the community can help too!

However, if you’re open to exploring Aqara cameras (not strictly doorbells) for your front door, the Camera Hub G3 or Camera E1 are recommended for home monitoring, though their form factors may differ from traditional doorbells .
