Duplicated Yeelight Lamp Issue in Home Assistant

Hello everyone! I’ve been experiencing an interesting issue with my Yeelight lamp setup in Home Assistant. Every morning, I notice that my lamp disappears from the list, only to reappear later in the day. Upon checking the entity list, I discovered that there are two entries for the same lamp, which is quite puzzling since I only have one configured in my configuration.yaml file.

I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps to resolve this. First, I reviewed my configuration to ensure there were no duplicate entries or accidental inclusions. Everything seemed correct, so I moved on to restarting both Home Assistant and the Yeelight lamp itself. Unfortunately, this didn’t resolve the issue.

I also considered checking the logs for any errors or warnings that might shed light on why the duplication is occurring. However, the logs didn’t reveal anything immediately obvious. I’m now reaching out to the community to see if anyone else has encountered this problem or has any suggestions on how to permanently remove the duplicate entry.
