I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my Govee lighting setup, and I wanted to share my recent DIY project with you all. I’ve been experimenting with creating dynamic light animations, inspired by some amazing effects I’ve seen in videos like this one: Audi Light Show. The goal was to mimic that flowing, pulsating light effect using my Govee LED strips. Here’s what I did: I used the Govee Studio app in DIY mode, combined with an Apple Shortcut, to create a scene where the lights flow from both ends of the strip toward the center. Once they meet in the middle, the brightness ramps up to 100%, and then it flows back outward. It’s been a blast tweaking the timing and color transitions to get the effect just right! 
I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried something similar or has tips for enhancing these kinds of animations. The DIY mode in the Govee app has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to get really creative with my lighting setup.
