Dynamic Weather Icons in SmartHome UI

Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! I’m really excited to share my thoughts and perhaps get some inspiration from you all. I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation and it’s been an incredible journey so far.

One feature I’ve been really curious about is the ability to display dynamic weather icons in my smart home UI. I currently have a setup where I can show weather data, but I’m looking to take it a step further by having the icons change based on the actual weather conditions. For instance, if it’s sunny, I want a sun icon; if it’s raining, a rain icon, and so on.

I’ve been experimenting with different configurations and scripts, but I’m still not quite there. My current setup displays the weather data, but the icons remain static. I’ve considered using conditional statements in my automation rules to change the icon based on the weather data, but I’m not entirely sure how to implement this effectively.

I’d love to hear from others who might have tackled a similar project. Have you managed to create dynamic weather icons in your UI? What tools or platforms did you use? Any tips or resources you could share would be invaluable.

I’m also wondering if there are any existing integrations or plugins that can simplify this process. I’ve heard about some powerful automation tools that might make this easier, but I’m not sure which ones are the best fit for my setup.

Thank you all in advance for your insights and suggestions. It’s amazing to be part of such a supportive and innovative community!
