E1 Smart Radiator Thermostat & Matter

Can anyone confirm that the E1 Thermostat is now Matter-compliant? If so, do I no longer need to have the Aqara Zigbee hub to use it?

Hi,E1 is zigbee
But a new thermostat is coming the W600 with Matter support

The E1 thermostat is a Zigbee thermostat and supports Matter only via a Matter Bridge; a Zigbee hub is required for this. In the hub settings, under the Matter section, you can take the Matter code and forward it to the desired system. The thermostat head will be forwarded along with the hub and other Zigbee devices linked to it. This method is called a Matter Bridge.
