Initially, I had 4 bulbs from different manufacturers, all using the same app but with varying interfaces and color outputs. It was frustrating to have inconsistent performance across devices. Now, with all bulbs from the same brand, everything works seamlessly through the Smart Life app.
I also discovered that these bulbs are available directly from the European store website, which wasn’t something I knew before. This makes shopping much more convenient compared to searching through the app store. While I’m happy with the European offerings, I noticed that the American store has a 6-button control option, which I’d love to have access to. If anyone has experience with these controls, I’d love to hear how they’ve integrated them into their setup!
One tip I’d like to share is ensuring that all bulbs are set up with the same firmware version. This helps maintain consistency across devices and prevents unexpected behavior. Additionally, grouping bulbs in the app allows for easier control and scene programming, which has been a lifesaver for creating ambiance in different rooms.
