Echo Show Setup and Shelly Plus i4 Network Issues

I recently decided to dive into the world of smart home devices and started with the Echo Show 8. Setting it up seemed straightforward at first, but I ran into an issue where the setup process got stuck at the privacy protection screen. After some research and troubleshooting, I managed to resolve it by ensuring my network was stable and my router was up-to-date. It’s a bit frustrating, but I’m glad it’s working now!

Moving on to another project, I’ve been experimenting with the Shelly Plus i4 devices. These little gadgets are fantastic for controlling lights and appliances, but I’ve encountered a peculiar issue. One of my Shelly Plus i4 units keeps disconnecting from my network, especially when it’s placed in certain areas of my home. I’ve tried resetting it, changing the Wi-Fi channel, and even moving the device closer to the router, but the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d love to hear if there’s a solution or workaround out there.

On a more positive note, I’ve been really impressed with the Govee light strips I recently purchased. They’re vibrant, easy to control via the app, and have completely transformed the ambiance of my living room. The app interface is user-friendly, and the color transitions are smooth. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to add some flair to their home!

Overall, while there are a few hiccups along the way, the journey into smart home technology is both exciting and rewarding. I’m looking forward to exploring more devices and automations in the future. If anyone has tips or recommendations, feel free to share!
