Echo Sub Bass Enhancement and Tado Floor Sensor Setup Tips

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a couple of tips that might help others out there. First, regarding the Echo Sub: I initially paired it with my Echo Studio, but the bass was almost nonexistent. After doing some research, I realized that pairing the subwoofer directly with an Alexa Show instead of the Echo Studio made a huge difference. The bass became much more pronounced, and the overall sound quality improved significantly. If you’re struggling with bass levels, I highly recommend trying this setup!

Moving on to another topic, I’ve been researching Tado thermostats and their compatibility with underfloor heating, especially with LVT flooring. Many sources mention the importance of floor sensors to prevent overheating, which can damage LVT. However, finding clear information on whether Tado supports these sensors has been a bit challenging. After some digging, I discovered that while Tado doesn’t natively support floor sensors, there might be workarounds using third-party devices or custom integrations. If anyone has experience with this, I’d love to hear your insights!

Lastly, I wanted to share a success story. I’ve been using Shelly devices for a while now, and recently, I set up a Shelly Door/Window sensor to monitor my garage door. It’s been working perfectly, and I love how it integrates with my existing smart home setup. If anyone has questions about Shelly devices or smart home automation, feel free to ask!

Thanks for reading, and I hope these tips help someone out there. Happy tinkering! :control_knobs:
