Hey everyone, I’m really hoping you can help me out with this issue I’m having with my Ecobee thermostat. I just installed it, replacing my old Honeywell model, but it’s not turning on at all. I followed the instructions carefully, but something’s definitely off.
First, I connected the wires as per the Ecobee guide. The red wire is on C, the green on G, and the yellow on Y. I thought maybe I missed something, so I double-checked everything. The thermostat still didn’t power up. I decided to try reconnecting the yellow wire for stage 1 cooling, but that didn’t make a difference either.
I’m a bit stuck here. I really want to get this working without having to call in a professional, but I’m not sure what else to try. Did I maybe mix up the wires? Is there something obvious I’m missing? Any advice would be so appreciated!
I guess I’ll keep troubleshooting for now, but I’m definitely feeling a bit overwhelmed. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
