Hey everyone, I wanted to share some insights on improving event buffering with my cameras. I’ve noticed that buffering before viewing events or loading recordings can be quite time-consuming, especially on slower connections. On my WiFi (which is FTTP with 30+ Mbps), it can take up to a minute, and on 4G, it’s still often 20-30 seconds. This can really add up when going through multiple events!
I always keep my cameras updated, but I wonder if there are any tips to speed this up. Do others experience similar delays? I’d love to hear any suggestions or workarounds you’ve found. Also, I noticed that my cameras have SD cards, but I don’t tend to use them for playback. Are they redundant in this case, or is there a smarter way to utilize them?
