Efficiently Detecting Shower Usage with Aqara Humidity Sensors

Hey everyone! I’ve been experimenting with using Aqara humidity sensors to detect when the shower is in use, and it’s been a fun challenge. The setup works great—humidity rises quickly when the shower is on, but drops much more slowly after it’s turned off. I’m curious if anyone has experience with using a wait trigger to detect even slight drops in humidity. This could be really useful for automating things like turning off lights or exhaust fans after the shower is done.

I’d love to hear if others have tackled similar automation scenarios or have tips on fine-tuning these kinds of detections. It would be awesome to share some best practices or clever workarounds! :shower::sparkles:
