My goal was to automate the bedroom lights, allowing me to control them effortlessly from my bed without needing to fumble for switches in the dark.I started by installing two Shelly Plus 1 devices in my bed’s lighting system and one in the ceiling light switch. The idea was to create a system where pressing the bed switch would toggle both lights, but I encountered an unexpected issue. The scenes I set up were inadvertently triggering each other, causing the lights to flicker on and off repeatedly when the switch was pressed. This was quite puzzling and a bit frustrating, as it seemed like a minor setback in an otherwise smooth setup.After some research and experimentation, I discovered that adding a short delay to the light switching resolved the issue.
