I’m thrilled to share my recent success in automating my garden’s irrigation system using smart home technology! 
After some trial and error, I’ve managed to create a seamless setup that not only waters my plants but also enhances the beauty of my garden with a small waterfall feature. Here’s how I did it:First, I integrated my garden sprinklers with a smart irrigation controller. This allows me to set precise watering schedules and even adjust the flow based on weather conditions. The best part? I can control everything from my smartphone, no matter where I am!For the waterfall, I used a smart water pump connected to my home automation system. I programmed it to run during specific times of the day, creating a calming ambiance in my backyard. To add some variety, I also linked the pump to my smart speaker, so I can start or stop the waterfall with just a voice command. 
One challenge I faced was ensuring the system would turn off automatically after the set time. Initially, I tried using multiple macros, but they didn’t work as expected. After some research, I discovered that setting up timer-based automation directly in my smart hub was the solution.
