Just wanted to drop in and share a little smart home magic I’ve been playing with lately. I’ve been using Aqara devices for a while now, but recently started diving into Siri Shortcuts to make things feel way more seamless — and honestly, it’s a total game changer.
I set up a shortcut that runs when I say “Hey Siri, goodnight” — it locks my door (Aqara Smart Lock), turns off all the lights, lowers the thermostat, and even triggers a “sleep mode” scene on my Hub. One command. That’s it. Feels like Iron Man.
Best part? You don’t need to be a coding wizard. In the Shortcuts app, you can stack actions and scenes super easily. Just make sure your Aqara devices are all exposed properly in HomeKit.
