Energy Dashboard Data Time Shift Issue

Hi everyone, I’ve noticed an interesting issue with the Energy Dashboard and thought I’d share my findings to see if others are experiencing the same or have insights.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been closely monitoring the energy consumption data for my home. I set up the Energy Dashboard to track various sensors, including temperature, humidity, and power usage. Everything seemed to be working smoothly until I noticed something odd in the data visualization.

Specifically, the data points for certain sensors appear to be shifted by one hour. For example, data recorded between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM shows up as 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Energy Dashboard. This discrepancy is consistent across multiple days and sensors, which has me a bit puzzled.

After some investigation, I realized that this shift only occurs for data that has been aggregated into long-term statistics (older than 12 days). The real-time data and short-term statistics (within the last 12 days) display correctly. This makes me think it might be related to how the system handles data compression or time zone adjustments for long-term storage.

I’ve checked the timestamps in the raw data and confirmed that they are accurate. This suggests that the issue isn’t with the data collection but rather with how it’s being displayed in the Energy Dashboard.

I’m curious if others have encountered this or if there’s a known fix. If it’s a bug, it might be worth reporting to the developers. On the other hand, if it’s a feature or configuration option, I’d love to understand why this shift occurs and how to correct it.

In the meantime, I’m continuing to monitor the data and will reach out to support if I don’t find a solution in the community. Thanks in advance for any insights or advice!
