Energy Dashboard Reset and Tibber Integration Experience

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with resetting my energy dashboard data and integrating Tibber into my Home Assistant setup. I’ve been using ZHA for a while, but after switching to Z2M, I noticed some discrepancies in my energy readings. For example, my standby energy consumption was showing 5.55kW when the actual value was only 2.9kW. Similar issues were popping up with my ventilation system and overall electricity costs. It was clear that something wasn’t adding up correctly.I decided to reset all my energy data to start fresh, especially since I’m planning to switch to Tibber soon. I tried deleting the home-assistant_v2.db file, but it didn’t resolve the issue completely. The old data still lingered, so I had to restore the database temporarily. After some research, I found that a complete reset was necessary. I followed the steps to clear all energy data, and it worked like a charm! Now, everything is starting from zero, which makes tracking my energy usage much more accurate and straightforward.Since integrating Tibber, I’ve been impressed by how seamlessly it works with my existing setup. The real-time data and detailed insights have already helped me optimize my energy consumption. If anyone else is considering making the switch, I highly recommend it!Would love to hear if others have had similar experiences or tips for a smooth transition. Happy automating! :rocket:
