I have several rooms with multiple high hats and decor switches, all LED, but they still consume quite a bit of energy, especially with everyone home during the pandemic. I want to automate these switches to turn off during daylight hours but allow manual override.
I’m considering using Sonoff modules or a Zigbee setup with a hub. I have a Raspberry Pi and an existing PC that could serve as a server. The challenge is fitting Sonoff modules into standard 2-way switches and finding a cost-effective solution for multiple rooms.
