Enhancing Automation Visibility for Devices

I recently upgraded my smartphone and decided to give it a new name, which led me to explore how my devices interact with my home automation system. One thing I noticed was that while I could see my old phone’s device name in the system, the automations it was part of weren’t clearly listed under the Automations section. This made me wonder: wouldn’t it be incredibly helpful if the system could display all the automations a device is involved in, whether it’s acting as a trigger, condition, or action?

For instance, my mobile device is only used in one automation for notifications, but I couldn’t easily find this information without digging through each automation manually. This got me thinking about how a more transparent automation display could streamline the process of managing and troubleshooting devices.

I’d love to hear others’ thoughts on this! Have you encountered similar situations or found workarounds? It would be amazing if the community could collaborate on suggestions or potential solutions to make device automation management more intuitive. Let’s keep the conversation going and explore how we can enhance our smart home experiences together! :rocket:
